Tailor Treads is pioneering the future of footwear by integrating ultimate consumer customization with uncompromising all-weather, all-terrain durability. Our hackathon project focuses on developing the MVP of our proprietary 3D Design Engine and Adaptive Material Selector. This platform allows customers to instantly design a truly personalized shoe (aesthetic, fit, and functional features) while dynamically recommending the optimal material components (e.g., waterproof membranes, high-traction rubber blends, temperature-regulating liners) to ensure the final product is perfectly suited for any climate, destination, or activity. The Goal: To demonstrate how to move from a generic, specialized shoe market to a single, hyper-personalized, and universally versatile product, eliminating the need for multiple pairs and reducing consumer waste.
