The College Event Reminder is a smart and automated system designed to ensure that students never miss important events happening in their college. In many colleges, event announcements are shared through notice boards, WhatsApp groups, or classroom messages, which often become unreliable or easy to miss. Students get busy with classes, assignments, and activities, and as a result, they forget deadlines or events like workshops, competitions, seminars, or cultural programs. To solve this problem, the College Event Reminder aims to bring all event information into one organized system and send reminders automatically at the right time. The core idea behind this project is simple but powerful: keep all event details in one place and use an automated workflow to send timely notifications. For storing events, a Google Sheet is used as a database. Every event—its name, date, time, and description—is entered into the sheet. This makes it easy for faculty or students to update the list without any technical knowledge. Once the event data is saved, the system takes over the rest of the process. To automate the reminders, the project uses n8n, an open-source workflow automation tool. With n8n, a workflow is created that checks the Google Sheet at regular intervals. When the date and time of any event match the current time, the workflow gets triggered. It prepares a message containing the event details, the time, and any special instructions. This message is then automatically sent to the user through Telegram and Gmail using a Telegram Bot and Gmail. This ensures that the reminder reaches the student instantly and clearly, without requiring anyone to manually send updates. The goal of the College Event Reminder is to make college communication smooth, consistent, and efficient. Instead of depending on long WhatsApp messages, pinned posts, or repeated announcements, this system brings everything into an automated structure. Students only need to subscribe to the Telegram
