RoomieSplit – Smart Roommate Expense Manager

Description

RoomieSplit is a web-based application designed to help roommates manage shared expenses easily and transparently. Users can add, edit, delete, and search expenses, track who paid, and calculate how much each person owes. The application automatically divides expenses equally among selected participants, reducing manual calculations and avoiding confusion over money. Built using Java for backend logic, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for the frontend, and REST APIs for communication, RoomieSplit also uses persistent storage to save expense records. Its responsive interface makes expense management simple and accessible. The project aims to make sharing expenses with roommates fair, organized, and hassle-free.
